A DRY-CLEAN BEGINNING
Robert Lechner joined local dry-cleaner, A.W Zengeler
1971
THE START OF A PARTNERSHIP
Larry Lechner stepped into his father's footsteps and partnered with the Zengeler family, starting the uniform rental division
1988
THE ACQUISITION
Larry Lechner acquired Northside Cleaners, doubling the service routes and establishing us as a leader in the uniform rental industry
2000
GROWING SUCCESS
Together with his brother Eric, Brian Lechner built on his father's success. As the uniform rental division continued to grow, it separated from the dry cleaner to operate independently and continue expansion
2003
BREAKING GROUND
A 67,0000 sq. ft. plant is built in 420 Kington Court, Mount Prospect, IL. RFID technology makes it the most advanced for its time
2004
LECHNER AND SONS
The company officially changes its name to Lechner and Sons Uniform Rental, keeping the Lechner family as the sole owners
2017
REBRAND TIME
Brian Lechner, now the majority owner, rebrands the company to Lechner Services and transitions from RFID to UHF chip technology - implementing ULTRA and putting an end to garment shortages
2018
FIRST AID IS BORN
The Lechner First Aid Supply division was born to complete the circle of service for our customers
